Open European Day at Bonn Resilient Cities

25 April 2018
Bonn, Germany- Gustav-Stresemann-Institut, Langer Grabenweg 68 D-53175, Bonn

The fifth Open European Day at Bonn Resilient Cities will bring together key adaptation actors from different organisations: cities and city networks, regional and national governments, researchers, adaptation experts and European representatives.

This year’s Open European Day will build on last year's addition of interactive workshops around key themes. These will be organised by cities, where they will share their local governments’ experience in depth or by relevant institutions that support cities through programmes and initiatives.

Themes will include adaptation, resilience and cultural heritage, looking for the first time into the intersection of adaptation and culture. The OED Marketplace will return following the success of the format at the third Open European Day, providing a space for participants to network and brainstorm.

The Open European Day is organised by ICLEI Europe and the European Environment Agency, co-organised by the RESIN project, Smart Mature Resilience and PLACARD, supported by the European Commission, Ramboll and the European Investment Bank, and endorsed by the LIFE programme, the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, Climate-KIC, the European Capital of Innovation, Climate-Fit City, the European Green Capital Award and the European Green Leaf Award.

Registration for the event is open on the OED website: register for the OED here.

The conference report for the 4th OED is now available online.
