Advancing in sustainable policies and measures sounds like a good idea, but difficulties can arise when it comes time to make it happen. The agenda+ meetings are an ideal framework for advanced local authorities to encourage co-operation, explain the practicalities and challenges of setting up and implementing sustainable initiatives, or to explore the opportunities that can come with it.

This third session of the agenda+ meeting will take place in Brussels during the Open Days 8th European Week of Cities and Regions, and will be facilitated by ICLEI.

There are a number of benefits that local authorities can enjoy in being part of the Network. Participants of ambitious cities in Europe will present and discuss priorities and strategies to promote and support local sustainability, share experiences with others and get the chance to have an impact on political debates among EU institutions and Member States.
