Connecting with ICLEI

ICLEI members are the heart of the organisation. In Europe, almost 200 local governments and their associations are members of ICLEI, amongst them 15 European capital cities. These municipalities and municipal associations of all sizes have made a unique commitment to sustainable development by joining ICLEI.

Supporting, developing and implementing

Members support the work of ICLEI through both their membership fees and their experience and creativity in the development and implementation of projects and campaigns that address the globe‘s biggest problems. Within the organisation they are part of a network of peers and can profit from each others knowledge.
