ISEAL Research Consultancy - The use of sustainability standards in sustainable public procurement
Short description: ISEAL Alliance, the global association for sustainability standards, in collaboration with ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, is conducting a series of interviews with a worldwide range of public sector entities. The purpose of these interviews is to undertake field-level research in order to assess the extent and manner in which sustainability standards, including eco-labels, are being used by public sector officials to support sustainable public procurement.

Project summary: Three-year project lead by ISEAL, with the support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), with the objective of strengthing the uptake of sustainability standards in public procurement.
